NV Bel Star Cuvee Extra Dry - $14.99
Region: Valdobbidene, Italy 11% abv
A unique sparkler created by one of Prosecco's top producers, the Cuvee Rose is a blend of Merlot, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
Fresh, juicy, somewhat soft and sweet with citrus, licorice, melon and ripe strawberries. Clean, easy style with light, creamy mousse.
2021 Cordero di Montezemolo Langhe Arneis - $22.99
Region: Langhe, Piedmont Italy
Grape 100% Arneis
Wine Advocate 91
“Cordero di Montezemolo does a terrific job with this white wine that offers so much freshness, ease and simple drinking joy. I especially recommend the 2021 Langhe Arneis now that the warm season is upon us. It releases fragrant citrus and bergamot with almond blossom and crushed stone. It has all its cards in place for a fish dinner by the sea.”
2020 Paitin Barbera D Alba Serra - $22.99
You get tremendous value from the Paitin Barbera d'Alba Serra, which is fruity and bright but beautifully elegant as well. Barbera is known for its rich black fruit flavors and accessible personality, so it's a real treat to taste a wine that puts so much emphasis on the smaller details offered by the grape. These include tart blueberry, white cherry, exotic spice and crushed stone. There is some softness on the close, but the wine will be remembered for the linear and pristine nature of its fruit.
2020 Vallone di Cecione Chianti Classico - $19.99
If you love family and traditions and wine — this Chianti Classico will attract your attention by its label right away. A happy couple carrying freshly harvested grapes. The multi-generational, family-run winery, Vallone di Cecione, using organic practices and sangiovese and canaiolo grapes make perfect Chianti Classico. It has red velvety aromas with black pepper and violet petals, raspberries and sour cherries. It perfectly pairs with a cheese and meat board to start - followed by any pasta, pizza, or milled flour dishes.
Drink 2024 – 2035
Antonio Galloni 93
“The 2020 Chianti Classico is a brilliant, deep wine. The blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo works so well here. Bright acids perk up a core of dark red/purplish berry fruit, sage, tobacco, mint, lavender and pipe tobacco. I especially like the energy here.”
